From 1988 to 1992, he was an associate at the law firm of Gestur J\u00f3nsson, Supreme Court Attorney, and Hallgr\u00edmur B. Geirsson, Supreme Court Attorney. He continued at their joint law firm along with Gunnar J\u00f3nsson, Supreme Court Attorney, and Ragnar H.
