About
Graduated from the Faculty of Law, University of Iceland, in 1988. Licensed District Court Attorney since 1989 and Supreme Court Attorney since 1999.
Worked as a legal officer at the District Magistrate’s Office in Vestmannaeyjar in 1988. From 1988 to 1992, he was an associate at the law firm of Gestur Jónsson, Supreme Court Attorney, and Hallgrímur B. Geirsson, Supreme Court Attorney. He continued at their joint law firm along with Gunnar Jónsson, Supreme Court Attorney, and Ragnar H. Hall, Supreme Court Attorney, until 1994.
From 1994 to 2002, he operated his own law practice in partnership with Ólafur Garðarsson, Supreme Court Attorney.
