About Ingvi
Ingvi has extensive experience in corporate law, including advising and drafting agreements related to mergers and acquisitions and corporate financing. He has worked on a wide range of matters involving securities and investment funds, as well as financial regulatory frameworks. In addition, he has significant experience in real estate, property transactions, construction projects, and planning and zoning matters.
Following his graduation, Ingvi began his legal career as an associate at the law firm Garðastræti 17 with Supreme Court Attorney Andri Árnason. In the autumn of 1999, he joined the Ministry of Justice as an assistant to the Minister. From 2004 to 2011, he worked at Íslandsbanki hf., including serving as Head of Legal Advisory Services. From 2011 to 2017, he was a partner and practicing attorney at Lögmenn Lækjargata. Between 2017 and 2019, he served as Managing Director of Specialised Investments at GAMMA Capital Management hf.
Ingvi has also taught law part-time, including courses in secured transactions at the University of Iceland’s Faculty of Law, and served as an adjunct lecturer at the School of Business and Economics at the University of Iceland.
